Job summary

Flexzo Ai in Jacksonville, FL is seeking a full-time Physician Assistant for outpatient primary care. You will provide comprehensive care to a Medicare-aged population, focusing on preventive care, chronic disease management, and helping patients maintain health and independence.

This role offers a Monday–Friday schedule with no nights, weekends, or on-call. Eligible for Florida PA license, plus DEA registration and current BLS.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited Physician Assistant program.
• Active and unrestricted Florida PA license or eligibility to obtain Florida licensure.
• DEA registration.
• Current BLS certification.
• Strong clinical assessment and diagnostic skills.
• Excellent communication and patient-engagement skills.
• Ability to practice independently while collaborating with the healthcare team.
• Primary care, family medicine, internal medicine, or geriatric experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide comprehensive primary care in collaboration with physicians and the clinical team.
• Take patient histories, perform examinations, and establish diagnoses.
• Develop individualized treatment and preventive care plans.
• Order and interpret labs, imaging, and other tests.
• Prescribe medications and manage ongoing treatment for Medicare-aged patients.
• Educate patients on medications, diagnoses, and preventive care.
• Coordinate care with specialists and other healthcare professionals.
• Maintain accurate documentation in the EMR.

Looking for a Physician Assistant opportunity that offers a predictable schedule, meaningful patient relationships, and a strong work-life balance?

We are seeking a full-time Physician Assistant (PA) to join our outpatient primary care practice in Jacksonville, Florida. You’ll provide comprehensive care to a primarily Medicare-aged patient population, with an emphasis on preventive care, chronic disease management, and helping patients maintain their health and independence.

This is an excellent opportunity for a PA who enjoys building long-term relationships with patients and wants the stability of a Monday–Friday schedule with no weekends and no call.

What You’ll Do

As a Physician Assistant, you’ll provide comprehensive primary care while working collaboratively with physicians and other members of our clinical team.

Your Responsibilities Will Include

• Conduct patient histories, physical examinations, assessments, and diagnoses
• Manage acute and chronic medical conditions
• Develop individualized treatment and preventive care plans
• Order and interpret laboratory tests, diagnostic studies, and imaging
• Prescribe medications and manage ongoing treatmentMonitor chronic conditions common among Medicare-aged patients
• Educate patients regarding medications, diagnoses, preventive care, and treatment plans
• Coordinate care with physicians, specialists, clinical staff, and other healthcare professionals
• Maintain accurate and timely documentation in the electronic medical record
