Job summary

Flexzo Ai in Gainesville, FL is seeking a full-time Physician Assistant to join our outpatient primary care practice. You’ll provide preventive and chronic disease management for a Medicare-aged patient population and work closely with physicians and the clinical team.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited Physician Assistant program.
• Active Florida Physician Assistant license or eligibility.
• DEA registration.
• Current BLS certification.
• Strong clinical assessment and diagnostic skills.
• Excellent communication and patient-engagement skills.
• Ability to practice independently while collaborating with the healthcare team.
• Primary care, family medicine, internal medicine, or geriatric experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Conduct patient histories, physical examinations, assessments, and diagnoses.
• Manage acute and chronic medical conditions.
• Develop individualized treatment and preventive care plans.
• Order and interpret laboratory tests, diagnostic studies, and imaging.
• Prescribe medications and manage ongoing treatment.
• Monitor chronic conditions common among Medicare-aged patients.
• Educate patients regarding medications, diagnoses, preventive care, and treatment plans.
• Coordinate care with physicians, specialists, clinical staff, and other healthcare professionals.
• Maintain accurate and timely documentation in the electronic medical record.

We are seeking a full-time Physician Assistant (PA) to join our outpatient primary care practice in Gainesville, Florida. You’ll provide comprehensive care to a primarily Medicare-aged patient population, with an emphasis on preventive care, chronic disease management, and helping patients maintain their health and independence.

What You’ll Do
