Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited Physician Assistant program.
• Active and unrestricted Florida PA license or eligibility.
• DEA registration.
• Current BLS certification.

• Ability to practice independently while collaborating with the healthcare team.
• Primary care/family medicine/geriatric experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide comprehensive primary care in outpatient setting.

• Take patient histories, perform exams, diagnose and manage illnesses.
• Order and interpret labs, imaging, and tests.
• Prescribe medications and manage ongoing treatment.

Looking for a Physician Assistant opportunity that offers a predictable schedule, meaningful patient relationships, and a strong work-life balance?

We are seeking a full-time Physician Assistant (PA) to join our outpatient primary care practice in Hawthorne, Florida. You’ll provide comprehensive care to a primarily Medicare-aged patient population, with an emphasis on preventive care, chronic disease management, and helping patients maintain their health and independence.

What You’ll Do

As a Physician Assistant, you’ll provide comprehensive primary care while working collaboratively with physicians and other members of our clinical team.

Your Responsibilities Will Include

• Conduct patient histories, physical examinations, assessments, and diagnoses
• Manage acute and chronic medical conditions
• Develop individualized treatment and preventive care plans
• Order and interpret laboratory tests, diagnostic studies, and imaging
• Prescribe medications and manage ongoing treatment
• Monitor chronic conditions common among Medicare-aged patients
• Educate patients regarding medications, diagnoses, preventive care, and treatment plans
• Coordinate care with physicians, specialists, clinical staff, and other healthcare professionals
• Maintain accurate and timely documentation in the electronic medical record

• Graduate of an accredited Physician Assistant program
• Active and unrestricted Florida Physician Assistant license or eligibility to obtain Florida licensure
• DEA registration
• Current BLS certification
