Job summary

Flexzo Ai in Hawthorne, FL is seeking a Physician Assistant for a full-time outpatient primary care role. You will provide comprehensive care to an older Medicare population with a focus on preventive care, chronic disease management, and helping patients maintain health and independence.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited Physician Assistant program.
• Active and unrestricted Florida PA license or eligibility.
• DEA registration.
• Current BLS certification.
• Strong clinical assessment and diagnostic skills.
• Excellent communication and patient-engagement skills.
• Ability to practice independently while collaborating with the healthcare team.
• Primary care/family medicine/geriatric experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide comprehensive primary care in outpatient setting.
• Work with physicians and clinical staff to coordinate care.
• Take patient histories, perform exams, diagnose and manage illnesses.
• Order and interpret labs, imaging, and tests.
• Prescribe medications and manage ongoing treatment.
• Educate patients on medications, diagnoses, and preventive care.
• Document accurately in the EMR and maintain records.
