Job summary

We are dedicated to recruiting top-tier physicians to help increase access to affordable, high-quality care throughout the state.Job Description:Role Summary:The Physician Assistant is responsible for assisting the Physician(s) in treating patients.Your Key Responsibilities:Assist Physician in treating patientsEvaluate patients, take history and perform pertinent physical examinationProvide post surgical wound care and follow-upCoordinate care of patients (testing and preparation for procedures)Record and ensure availability and completeness of documentation, reports and imaging examinationsProvide patient education, counseling and instructionFacilitate supervising Physician referral of patients to the appropriate health care facilities, agencies, or other resources of the community or other PhysiciansDictate progress notes, history and physical, and discharge summariesAdminister and/or order medication upon request of supervising PhysicianInitiate emergency measures on patient as requiredPerform chart auditsProvide in-service and daily consultation to nursing staffInitiate consultation and monitor patients for special testsCounsel patients on preventive careOther duties performed in a general practice outlined in F.S.
