Job summary

Yale New Haven Health Urgent Care in Connecticut and New York is seeking a full-time Physician Assistant to join our Enfield, CT team. You will perform comprehensive assessments, develop care plans, and deliver high-quality medical care in a fast-paced setting.

The role includes hands-on procedures such as suturing and wound management, collaborating with specialists to ensure the best patient outcomes. A competitive benefits package and bonus opportunities are offered.

Qualifications

• Active state medical license required.
• CS registration and AP certification required.
• PALS/ACLS certification required.
• At least 1 year urgent care or emergency medicine experience preferred.
• Experience with laceration repair, incision and drainage and wound care.

• Conduct thorough assessments and develop care plans for patients.
• Perform hands-on procedures including suturing and wound management.

Qualifications:

• State Medical License
• Controlled Substance Registration
• Certification as an Advanced Practitioner
• PALS and ACLS Certification
• A minimum of 1 year of full-time experience in an Urgent Care or Emergency Medicine setting is preferred.
• Candidates must possess a strong background in performing routine procedures, such as laceration repair, incision and drainage, foreign body removal, and treatment of orthopedic-related conditions.
• Relevant professional experience required; this position is best suited for candidates with prior experience in the field.
