Job summary

Bassett Healthcare Network in Central New York is seeking full-time BC/BE Anesthesiologists to join a large, academic anesthesia team across Cooperstown, Oneonta, Cobleskill and Little Falls with flexible staffing to fit physicians in surrounding regions.

Salary $600K with sign-on up to $200K, residency stipend up to $60,000, and a comprehensive benefits package. Visa sponsorship is available for qualified applicants; J-1 and H-1B welcome.

Qualifications

• MD, DO, or MBBS degree and active NYS licensure.
• Board eligible or board certified in anesthesiology.
• BLS/ACLS/PALS certifications must be current.
• DEA license/registration required for practice.

Responsibilities

• Join an established group of physicians and CRNAs in a full anesthesia care team.
• Provide anesthesia for diverse case mix with medical direction and teaching opportunities.
• Share call rotation (3-4 per month) with post-call day off and overnight relief.
• EMR-EPIC documentation and participation in a group-employed model.
• Visa sponsorship available; J-1 and H-1B candidates welcome.

Job Description & Responsibilities

• Join an established group of ~ 16 physicians and 25 CRNA's
• Anesthesia Care Team with meaningful medical direction ratio, typically 1:2. Also opportunity for solo work
• Full spectrum case mix and diverse patient population
• Call generally 3-4 per month with post call day off
• Nocturnist support to help reduce number of overnight shifts
• Opportunity to teach SRNA's, medical students & medicine and surgery residents

Compensation and Benefits

• Salary $600K. This compensation range represents Bassett Healthcare's good faith belief of the compensation range at the time of this posting or advertisement. Salary is based on a variety of factors, including but not limited to qualifications, experience, education, licenses, specialty, training, and fair market evaluation based on industry standards
• Sign-on bonus up to $200K
• Residency stipend up to $60,000 available up to 18 months prior to graduation. If applicable, candidate must be permitted to receive the stipend under U.S. immigration laws
