Job summary

MedCap Health is seeking Physicians to lead a skilled nursing facility team and deliver hospital-level care in a long-term care setting. You will oversee specialists and nurse practitioners, ensuring high-quality patient care with autonomous leadership and flexible scheduling.

Positions are contracted, full-time/part-time/flexible, with malpractice coverage, credential support, on-the-job training, and telemedicine support for overnight and weekend coverage.

Qualifications

• Board certification (or eligibility) in internal medicine, critical care, family practice, or geriatrics.
• Leadership experience preferred.
• Hospitalist experience could be an excellent fit.

Responsibilities

• Lead a skilled nursing facility team of specialists and nurse practitioners delivering hospital-level care.
• Oversee day-to-day clinical operations and manage complex cases.

YOUR SCHEDULE

Our Physicians work during the day, Monday through Friday with some weekends as needed. We can work together to build a consistent schedule that fits your needs and availability.

Our Physicians lead a talented team of specialists and nurse practitioners in delivering exceptional, hospital-level care. You'll work in a skilled nursing facility, overseeing your team in providing quality medical care and assisting with more complex cases. With flexible hours, you'll be able to help patients and make a tangible impact on your own terms!

WHAT WE NEED FROM YOU

• Board certification (or eligibility) in internal medicine, critical care, family practice, or geriatrics
• Leadership experience would be preferred
