MedCap Health in Garner, NC is hiring physicians to lead a skilled nursing facility team and provide hospital-level care in a compassionate, patient-focused environment. This contracted role offers full-time, part-time, or flexible arrangements with malpractice coverage and career growth opportunities.

You'll supervise specialists and nurse practitioners, oversee complex cases, and collaborate with support staff to deliver high-quality medical care with flexible hours that adapt to your schedule.

Qualifications

• Board certification (or eligibility) in internal medicine, critical care, family practice, or geriatrics.
• Leadership experience preferred.
• Hospitalist background is a strong fit.

Responsibilities

YOUR SCHEDULE

Our Physicians work during the day, Monday through Friday with some weekends as needed. We can work together to build a consistent schedule that fits your needs and availability.

Our Physicians lead a talented team of specialists and nurse practitioners in delivering exceptional, hospital-level care. You'll work in a skilled nursing facility, overseeing your team in providing quality medical care and assisting with more complex cases. With flexible hours, you'll be able to help patients and make a tangible impact on your own terms!

WHAT WE NEED FROM YOU

• Board certification (or eligibility) in internal medicine, critical care, family practice, or geriatrics
• Leadership experience would be preferred
