Job summary

ReNew Wound Care is seeking a licensed physician to lead wound care initiatives across post-acute facilities. You will perform comprehensive wound assessments and develop advanced treatment plans, including debridement and infection control, while working with nursing and rehab teams to coordinate patient care.

The role requires board certification, state licensure, and the ability to travel regularly to facilities.

Qualifications

• Licensed physician in good standing (state-specific).
• Board Certified (Required).
• 1+ years’ experience in advanced wound care highly preferred.
• Certification in wound care (CWSP, CWS, WCC, WOCN, CWOCN) is a plus.
• Must have reliable transportation and a passion for field-based care.

Responsibilities

• Lead wound care programs at partner facilities.
• Perform comprehensive assessments of acute and chronic wounds.
• Develop and implement advanced treatment plans.
• Apply debridement, skin grafting, and infection control techniques.
• Collaborate with on-site nursing and rehab teams to ensure patient care.
• Communicate treatment goals and progress across teams.
• Travel regularly to multiple skilled nursing and post-acute facilities.
• Ensure timely, efficient delivery of wound care at every location.
