Job summary

SteadyMD is seeking Physician Assistants for a remote, contract role delivering care across our telehealth programs. The position emphasizes asynchronous and synchronous visits, with a majority async workflow, and compensation around $60 per hour as a 1099 contractor.

You will evaluate patients via video, phone, and secure messaging, covering urgent care, primary care, weight loss, and mental health pathways.

Qualifications

• Active PA license in at least 5 states and must include CA.
• Must be licensed in the state you live in.
• Board Certified (NCCPA).
• 2 years of in-person, independent PA practice; 1 year weight loss experience preferred.
• Background in Internal or Family Medicine preferred.
• Telemedicine or virtual care experience is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Deliver patient care across SteadyMD's programs, including urgent care, weight management, lab review, remote patient monitoring, and primary care.
• Conduct evaluations via video, phone (scheduled and on-demand), and asynchronous communication with patients of all ages.
• Serve a diverse patient population while exemplifying inclusivity and evidence-based clinical practices.
• Maintain a compassionate, patient-centered approach to care delivery.
