An established healthcare provider is seeking a dedicated Physical Therapy Technician to support patient treatments and maintain a clean environment in the PT department. This role involves working closely with a Physical Therapist to ensure quality care for patients of all ages, from pediatric to geriatric. The ideal candidate will possess a high school diploma or GED, with relevant experience in a Physical Therapy clinic preferred. Under the direct supervision of a Physical Therapist, the Physical Therapy Technician will be utilized in supervised patient treatments and in maintaining the PT department in a clean and orderly manner.
MINIMUM EDUCATION
High school diploma or GED; relevant experience in lieu of High School Diploma/GED education will be considered. Graduation from a technical program preferred.
MINIMUM WORK EXPERIENCE
Previous experience in a Physical Therapy clinic preferred.
REQUIRED LICENSES/CERTIFICATIONS
Basic Life Support certification required through the American Heart Association or other pre-approved accredited certification program.
REQUIRED SKILLS, KNOWLEDGE, AND ABILITIES
Knowledge of regulations, QA and procedures, and quality patient care. Successful completion of department specific and/or hospital required training courses. Must be able to treat patients of all ages from pediatric to geriatric.
