OakBend Medical Center in Sugar Land, Texas, is seeking a Physical Therapy Technician to assist in patient treatments under a Physical Therapist's supervision while maintaining the department's cleanliness. Candidates should have a high school diploma or GED and preferably experience in a Physical Therapy clinic.

Position Summary

Under the direct supervision of a Physical Therapist, the Physical Therapy Technician will be utilized in supervised patient treatments and in maintaining the PT department in a clean and orderly manner.

Minimum Education

• High school diploma or GED; relevant experience in lieu of High School Diploma/GED education will be considered. Graduation from a technical program preferred.

Minimum Work Experience

• Previous experience in Physical Therapy clinic preferred.

Required Licenses/Certifications

• Basic Life Support certification required through the American Heart Association or other pre-approved accredited certification program.

Required Skills, Knowledge, and Abilities

• Knowledge of regulations, QA and procedures, and quality patient care.
• Successful completion department specific and/or hospital required training courses.
• Must be able to treat patients of all ages from pediatric to geriatric.
