Job summary

OakBend Medical Center seeks a licensed Physical Therapist to provide diverse physical therapy methods under physician orders and under the supervision of the Clinic Director or Manager.

You will support PT Assistants and PT Aides as a resource, and deliver evidence-based care to patients from pediatric to geriatric, while maintaining compliance with Texas licensure requirements and BLS standards.

Qualifications

• Eligible for or licensed by Texas Board of Physical and Occupational Therapy Examiners.
• Basic Life Support certification required through the American Heart Association or other pre-approved accredited certification program.
• Must be able to treat patients of all ages from pediatric to geriatric.

Previous experience in Physical Therapy preferred.

Required Licenses/Certifications

Required Skills, Knowledge, And Abilities

Knowledge of regulations, QA and procedures, and quality patient care. Successful completion department specific and/or hospital required training courses. Must be able to treat patients of all ages from pediatric to geriatric.
