• Serve as a resource for PT Assistants and PT Aides.

Education and Experience

• Minimum Education: Bachelor’s degree in Physical Therapy or Master’s degree in Physical Therapy.
• Minimum Work Experience: Previous experience in Physical Therapy preferred.

Licenses, Certifications

• Eligible for or licensed by the Texas Board of Physical and Occupational Therapy Examiners.
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification required through the American Heart Association or other pre-approved accredited program.

Skills, Knowledge, and Abilities

• Knowledge of regulations, QA and procedures, and quality patient care.
• Successful completion of department-specific and/or hospital-required training courses.
• Ability to treat patients of all ages from pediatric to geriatric.
