Job summary

Team Rehabilitation Physical Therapy is seeking a patient services assistant for our Michigan clinics. You will welcome patients for therapy sessions, assist therapists with non-clinical tasks, and support efficient clinic operations.

You will guide patients through light exercises, educate on equipment safety, assist with modalities as directed, and help maintain a clean, organized environment. No prior experience required; strong communication and dependability preferred.

Qualifications

• No prior experience or education required.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Interest in physical therapy or healthcare is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Welcome and prepare patients for therapy sessions.
• Assist therapists with non‑clinical tasks and patient support.
• Guide patients through light exercises and strengthening techniques.
• Educate patients on safe and correct use of equipment.
• Apply therapeutic modalities (heat/ice packs, electrical stimulation) as directed.
• Help patients walk safely between areas of the clinic.
• Keep treatment areas clean, organized, and sanitized.
• Communicate with patients, therapists, and other staff to ensure smooth care.
• Observe and report any patient progress or concerns to the Physical Therapist.
