Job summary

Universal Health Services, Inc. is seeking a Physical Therapist Assistant in Denison, Texas. Under the supervision of a physical therapist, you will carry out each assigned patient’s plan of care using therapeutic techniques and document care provided.

The ideal candidate is a graduate of an accredited physical therapy assistant program, licensed or eligible for licensure in Texas, and possesses strong communication and therapy skills. This role requires commuting between facilities as needed.

Qualifications

• Licensed by the State of Texas or eligible to sit for the exam.
• Must have completed BLS Healthcare Provider course during new hire orientation.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited program of Physical Therapy Assistants.
• Licensed by the State of Texas or must be eligible to sit for exam. BLS (Basic Life Support) Healthcare Provider course according to RQI program guidelines must be completed during new hire orientation prior to working in a clinical setting. Must be able to commute between facilities in a timely manner.
• Must have a general knowledge of therapy skills and competencies. Strong written, verbal and interpersonal relationship skills. Basic computer skills.
