Job summary

Rock Creek Care Center is seeking a compassionate Physical Therapist Assistant (PTA) to join our rehabilitation team on a PRN (as-needed) basis in California. The successful candidate will provide PT treatments under a licensed PT, assist residents with mobility and functional tasks, and help implement personalized plans.

• Graduate of an accredited Physical Therapist Assistant program.
• Current California PTA license in good standing.
• Experience in skilled nursing or rehabilitation preferred, but not required.
• Strong communication and teamwork skills.

Responsibilities

• Provide physical therapy treatments under the supervision of a licensed Physical Therapist.
• Assist residents in improving mobility, strength, balance, and functional independence.
• Carry out individualized treatment plans and therapeutic exercises.
• Monitor resident progress and communicate findings to the Physical Therapist.
• Educate residents and families on treatment goals and home exercise programs.
• Complete accurate and timely documentation.

Pay: $41-$47 per hour (DOE)
