Job summary

Cypress Ridge Care Center is seeking a motivated Physical Therapy Assistant (PTA) to join our rehabilitation team. Under the supervision of a licensed Physical Therapist, the PTA will assist in delivering therapeutic services to enhance mobility and restore function.

Qualifications

• Valid Physical Therapy Assistant (PTA) license in the state of California.
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
• Ability to work effectively within a collaborative team environment.
• Experience in a skilled nursing facility (SNF) preferred, but not required.

Responsibilities

• Implement individualized treatment plans as directed by the Physical Therapist.
• Provide therapeutic exercises, mobility training, and functional activities.
• Accurately document resident progress in compliance with company policies and state/federal regulations.
• Educate residents and families on prescribed exercises and safety practices.
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary team members to support resident care goals.
• Maintain a safe, positive, and encouraging therapy environment.
