The role reports to a licensed Physical Therapist and supports residents through therapeutic exercises, mobility training, and restorative care in a patient-centered setting.

We require an Associate Degree in PTA, NY PTA license, and BLS. Sub-acute rehab or long-term care experience is preferred, and new graduates are welcome to apply.

Responsibilities

• Educate residents on exercises and mobility techniques as directed.
• Maintain accurate and timely treatment documentation.
• Ensure therapy sessions comply with clinical and regulatory standards.
• Collaborate with the interdisciplinary care team to support resident outcomes.

Position Overview

As a Physical Therapy Assistant (PTA), you will work under the supervision of a licensed Physical Therapist to provide hands-on therapy services. You will assist residents in achieving functional goals through therapeutic exercises, mobility training, and restorative care in a collaborative, patient-centered environment.

PTA Physical Therapy Assistant Job Requirements

• Associate Degree from an accredited Physical Therapy Assistant program
• Active, unrestricted New York State Physical Therapy Assistant (PTA) license
• BLS certification required
• Experience in sub-acute rehab or long-term care preferred (new graduates welcome)

• $75,000 per year (based on experience)
• $70,000 per year (new graduates welcome)
• $2,000 Sign-On Bonus
