Job summary

Concourse Rehabilitation & Nursing Center, Inc. in Bronx, NY 10456 is seeking a Physical Therapy Assistant (PTA) to join our rehabilitation team. The role reports to a licensed Physical Therapist and supports residents through therapeutic exercises, mobility training, and restorative care in a patient-centered setting.

We require an Associate Degree in PTA, NY PTA license, and BLS. Sub-acute rehab or long-term care experience is preferred, and new graduates are welcome to apply.

Qualifications

• Associate degree from an accredited PTA program.
• Active NY PTA license.
• BLS certification.
• Experience in sub-acute rehab or long-term care preferred.
• Strong communication, teamwork, and documentation skills.

Responsibilities

• Assist in implementing individualized physical therapy treatment plans.
• Provide therapeutic exercises, gait training, and functional mobility activities.
• Monitor residents’ responses to therapy and report progress to the Physical Therapist.
• Educate residents on exercises and mobility techniques as directed.
• Maintain accurate and timely treatment documentation.
• Ensure therapy sessions comply with clinical and regulatory standards.
• Collaborate with the interdisciplinary care team to support resident outcomes.
