Job summary

Enhance Rehabilitation seeks qualified physical therapy assistant candidates to join our dynamic team. You will work under the guidance of a physical therapist and help treat patients by following an individualized plan of care developed by Physical Therapists.

You will assist with all phases of physical therapy, discuss treatment with patients, and document their responses. Strong communication with the PT, rehab director, and facility staff is essential to success.

Responsibilities

• Ensure every patient receives quality treatment resulting in excellent functional outcomes.
• With assistance of physical therapist, develop and implement physical therapy treatment programs based on each patient's particular needs.
• Assist patients with all phases of physical therapy treatment and techniques.
• Discuss treatment with patients and record patient conditions and responses to treatments in charts after each visit.
• Provide continuous communication with Physical Therapist, Director or Rehab, and facility staff.
• Operate and apply knowledge of standard physical therapy equipment.
