Job summary

Enhance Rehabilitation is seeking qualified physical therapy assistant candidates to join our dynamic team. The PTA will work under the guidance of a physical therapist to support patient care and execute individualized treatment plans.

You will assist with a range of physical therapy techniques, document patient responses, and communicate with the PT, Director of Rehab, and facility staff to ensure quality outcomes.

Responsibilities

• Assist treating patients by following an individualized plan of care developed by Physical Therapists.
• Develop and implement physical therapy treatment programs based on each patient's needs with the guidance of the PT.
• Assist patients with all phases of physical therapy treatment and techniques.
• Discuss treatment with patients and record patient conditions and responses to treatments in charts after each visit.
• Provide continuous communication with Physical Therapist, Director of Rehab, and facility staff.
• Operate and apply knowledge of standard physical therapy equipment.
