Job summary

Enhance Rehabilitation is seeking qualified physical therapy assistant candidates to join our dynamic team. As a PTA, you will work under the guidance of a physical therapist and help treat patients by following individualized plans of care developed by Physical Therapists.

You will assist patients with all phases of physical therapy, discuss treatment progress, record patient responses in charts after each visit, and maintain open communication with the Physical Therapist, Director of Rehab,

Qualifications

• Licensed or eligible PTA qualifications as required by state law.
• Ability to follow a physical therapist's plan of care.
• Good communication and patient interaction skills.

Responsibilities

• Ensure every patient receives quality treatment resulting in excellent functional outcomes.
• With the guidance of a physical therapist, develop and implement treatment programs.
• Assist patients with all phases of physical therapy treatment and techniques.
• Discuss treatment with patients and record patient conditions after each visit.
• Provide continuous communication with Physical Therapist, Director or Rehab, and facility staff.
• Operate and apply knowledge of standard physical therapy equipment.
