Qualifications

• Associates degree in physical therapy required.
• Active PTA license in state(s) of practice.
• Ongoing continuing education to maintain licensure.

Responsibilities

• Provide physical therapy services to residents under the supervision of a Physical Therapist.
• Conduct screenings to determine need for intervention or treatment.
• Assist in evaluations and goal setting with the Physical Therapist.
• Develop and modify treatment plans with long- and short-term goals.
• Deliver individual and group therapy sessions focusing on mobility, strength, gait, and ROM.
