Job summary

Qualifications

• Associate degree from an APTA-accredited program.
• Licensed as Physical Therapist Assistant (PTA).
• Ability to document resident progress accurately.

Responsibilities

• Provides direct treatment to residents as directed by the supervising Physical Therapist.
• Documents resident progress toward meeting established goals.
• Teaches exercises to residents, family members and caregivers; may instruct in use and care of orthotic, prosthetic devices, and other assisting apparatus.
• Completes required forms and documents per company policy and state/federal regulations.
