Job summary

Cabell Huntington Hospital is seeking a full-time Physical Therapy Assistant to support our Rehab Services Department. The PTA will assist the physical therapist in planning and conduction of various physical therapy treatments and patient education programs.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or equivalent.
• PTA program completion.
• Licensure by the West Virginia State Board of Physical Therapy.
• Must be able to lift equipment up to 75 pounds or assist patients weighing 250+ pounds.

Responsibilities

• Assist the physical therapist in planning and conduction of physical therapy treatments and patient education programs.
• Observe, record and report on patient's condition and response to treatment.
