Allegheny Health Network is seeking a Physical Therapist Assistant to support physical therapy treatment programs under the supervision of a Physical Therapist. You will communicate with patients and families and collaborate with the health care team to implement the plan of care.

Responsibilities include documenting care to meet department and regulatory standards, mentoring new staff, and participating in educational offerings.

Qualifications

• Minimum Associate’s Degree from a two-year college or technical school.
• Preferred Bachelor’s Degree.

Responsibilities

• Provides physical therapy interventions based upon the plan of care written by a physical therapist.
• Completes documentation to comply with department, hospital, and regulatory standards.
• Participates in departmental initiatives for operational improvement including mentoring new staff and participating in committees and educational offerings.
• Performs all other duties as assigned or required.
