Job summary

Qualifications

• Must hold an active Physical Therapy license in state(s) of practice.
• Associate's degree in Physical Therapy from an accredited program.
• Ongoing continuing education and professional development to maintain licensure and certification.

Responsibilities

• Provide physical therapy assistant services to residents according to standards and department procedures.
• Adhere to documentation and billing procedures for PTA services.
• Evaluate residents to plan and implement treatment programs with goals.
• Conduct regular screenings to determine intervention needs.
• Prepare and communicate evaluation findings and treatment recommendations to residents and families.
• Complete CMS-compliant documentation in NetHealth EMR systems.
