Job summary

Powdersville Post Acute in Easley, SC is hiring a full-time Physical Therapy Assistant (PTA) to join our rehabilitation team. The PTA works under a licensed Physical Therapist to deliver high-quality therapy aimed at improving mobility, strength, function, and independence for residents.

The ideal candidate will have a current SC PTA license, participate in ongoing CE, and bring experience in skilled nursing or rehab settings.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited Physical Therapist Assistant program.
• Current South Carolina PTA license in good standing.
• Must maintain all required continuing education and licensure requirements.
• Experience in skilled nursing, rehabilitation, or long-term care preferred.
• Experience with PointClickCare (PCC) and Casamba preferred.
• Strong clinical, communication, and documentation skills.

Responsibilities

• Provide physical therapy treatments as directed by the supervising Physical Therapist.
• Implement individualized treatment plans according to physician orders and therapy goals.
• Monitor resident progress and communication updates to the therapy team.
• Document treatments, progress notes, and required clinical information accurately and timely.
• Assist with discharge planning and caregiver education.
• Collaborate with nursing staff and other interdisciplinary team members.
• Participate in care conferences and team meetings as needed.
• Maintain a safe, clean, and organized treatment environment.
• Ensure compliance with all state, federal, and facility regulations.
• Support residents in achieving their highest level of function and independence.
