Job summary

Sprenger Health Care is seeking a Licensed Physical Therapy Assistant to join our team in a role supporting physical therapy services for residents. You will work under the supervision of a Physical Therapist to implement treatment plans and conduct routine screenings.

Responsibilities include coordinating with the PT and care team to schedule and adjust resident plans, while pursuing ongoing professional development and maintaining licensure eligibility as required.

Qualifications

• Assumes responsibility for ongoing continuing education and professional development.
• Current state licensure or license eligible.
• Provide physical therapy services to residents under the direct supervision of the Physical Therapist.

Responsibilities

• Conduct screenings of residents at regular intervals to determine need for intervention/treatment.
• Assist the Physical Therapist in identifying targets, goals and treatment plans.
• Assist in scheduling residents’ plans with the Physical Therapist and team members.
• Support resident care plans and ensure quality of services.
