Job summary

Symbria is seeking a per diem (PRN) Physical Therapist Assistant (PTA) for the New Bedford Rehab Team. The PTA will collaborate with the Physical Therapist to set goals and creatively implement treatment plans, while maintaining productivity and documentation.

Join a committed interdisciplinary team focused on positive outcomes for older adults. Applicants should be a graduate of an accredited PTA program with an active state license and be able to work flexible hours and weekends.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited PTA program.
• Hold a valid state license.
• Ability to work flexible hours and weekends.
• Experience in acute, long-term, or rehabilitation settings is helpful but not required.

Are you a Physical Therapist Assistant (PTA) with a desire to impact the lives of the older adult population? If so, our Rehab Team at New Bedford has a per diem (PRN) opportunity available.

Responsibilities

As a PRN Physical Therapist Assistant (PTA), you will work closely with the Physical Therapist to establish appropriate goals and creatively execute treatment plans. As a member of our interdisciplinary team, you will be required to maintain productivity standards and complete required documentation. More importantly, you will help your patients achieve critical outcomes while acting as a trusted partner to the community you serve.

Qualifications

• Be a graduate of an accredited school for Physical Therapist Assistants.
• Hold a valid state license.
• Ability to work flexible hours and weekends.
• It’s great to have had acute care, long-term care and/or rehabilitation experience but not always required.
