What you will do in this role:

1. Work in a team providing quality, compassionate care in a secure setting.
2. Under supervision of the Physical Therapist, implement the patient's Care Plan for rehabilitation. Assist mentally and/or physically impaired patients in tasks to restore, reinforce, and enhance their performance.
3. Communicate patient progress or issues to supervisors and team members; assist with patient scheduling and post charges daily to patient records.
4. Document patient care according to regulatory, licensing, payer, and accrediting requirements.
5. Instruct patients’ families or nursing staff in follow-through programs.
6. Maintain equipment and work area in a safe, clean condition.
7. Handle responsibilities in accordance with the Company's Code of Business Conduct, the Corporate Compliance Agreement, professional standards, and applicable laws.
8. Perform other duties as assigned.

Minimum Qualifications:

1. Graduate of an accredited Physical Therapy Assistant (PTA) program culminating in an Associate Degree.
2. Current state licensure as a PTA or equivalent in the states where services are provided.
3. CPR certification (if required).
