Job summary

Southcoast Health System, Inc. is seeking a talented Physical Therapy Assistant for the Outpatient Pediatric Rehab unit in New Bedford, MA. This per diem position involves day and evening shifts with weekend, holiday, and on-call rotation.

The role supports Rehabilitation Services under the supervision of a Team Leader. The ideal candidate will hold an Associate's Degree in Physical Therapy, be licensed as a Massachusetts PTA, and have CPR certification; 1 year of experience is preferred, with

**Available to regular status employees who are scheduled to work a minimum of 24 hours.

Responsibilities

Under direction of individually assigned Team Leader, Rehabilitation Services or Designee, perform a variety of patient care and related duties within and in support of the Rehabilitation Services Department.

Qualifications

• An Associates Degree in Physical Therapy is required.
• Current Massachusetts license as a Physical Therapist Assistant is required.
• One (1) year of experience is preferred.
• CPR certification required.
• Must be fully vaccinated against seasonal Influenza and the COVID 19 virus or to be exempt from the requirement for medical or personal reasons by signing a statement certifying you are choosing to be exempt from vaccination once hired.
• Compensation: Pay rate will be determined based on level of experience.

Pay Range

USD $35.00 - USD $35.00 /Hr.
