Rossmoor Post Acute in Walnut Creek, CA is seeking a compassionate Physical Therapist Assistant (PTA) to join our in-house rehabilitation team. We offer flexible scheduling (full-time, part-time, or PRN) and a supportive environment for new graduates to grow their clinical skills.

Under the supervision of a licensed PT, you will deliver skilled treatments, assist exercises, monitor progress, document care, and collaborate with therapists, nursing staff, and families.

Qualifications

• Current California PTA license in good standing.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work effectively in an interdisciplinary team.

Responsibilities

• Provide skilled PTA treatments under a licensed Physical Therapist's plan of care.
• Assist residents with therapeutic exercises to improve strength, balance, endurance, mobility.
• Monitor resident responses to treatment and document progress.
• Educate residents and caregivers on prescribed exercises, mobility techniques, and fall prevention.
• Maintain a safe, clean treatment environment and infection control practices.
• Collaborate with physical therapists, nursing staff, residents, families, and interdisciplinary team members.
