Job summary

Inspira Medical Center Elmer in Vineland, NJ, is seeking a Licensed Physical Therapist Assistant (LPTA) for a full-time role. Current state licensure is REQUIRED for this position, with salary range $31.31-$34.68 per hour.

The PTA will implement treatment plans, monitor patient progress, document responses, educate patients and families, and assist with discharge planning. Benefits include comprehensive medical coverage, tuition support, and wellness programs.

Qualifications

• Current state licensure as a Physical Therapy Assistant is REQUIRED.
• Previous experience in patient care preferred.
• Current BLS/CPR certification.

• Monitor patient responses and communicate progress and goal revisions to the supervising physical therapist.
• Document services provided and patient response/progress.
• Educate patient and family about deficits and assist with discharge planning.
• Provide information on adaptive equipment and community support programs.

How you'll contribute

A Physical Therapist Assistant who excels in this role:

• Implement treatment plan developed by supervising therapists using appropriate modalities. Seeks consultation as necessary.
• Monitors patient's responses to the treatment plan. Regularly communicates patient progress and possible goal revisions to the physical therapist.
• Documents services provided and patient response/progress.
• Educates the patient and family/caregiver about patient deficits. Assists with patient discharge planning.
• Provides information regarding appropriate selection/use of adaptive equipment and community support programs.
