The Hamlet Rehabilitation and Healthcare Center at Nesconset in New York seeks a full-time Physical Therapy Assistant (PTA) to join our geriatric-focused team. The ideal candidate will have a license in the state and the ability to evaluate and treat residents independently under PT supervision.

Responsibilities include assisting the PT with therapies designed to improve mobility, relieve pain, prevent disability, and promote wellness in a skilled nursing setting.

Qualifications

• Must hold a current PTA license in the state of practice.
• SNF experience preferred but not required.
• Ability to evaluate and treat residents independently without direct supervision.
