Job summary

OrthoAtlanta in Stockbridge, GA is seeking a talented Physical Therapist Assistant to deliver skilled PT treatments under physician orders, monitor progress, and educate patients on home exercise programs. This on-site, full-time role offers a collaborative team environment and opportunities for professional growth.

You will document treatments, maintain compliant records, and support PT aides while staying organized and compassionate in a fast-paced clinical setting.

Qualifications

• Associate degree in healthcare or related field.
• Graduate of an accredited Physical Therapist Assistant program.
• Current Georgia PTA license (or eligibility).
• Current CPR certification for Healthcare Providers.
• Knowledge of CPT and ICD-10 coding procedures.
• Strong understanding of physical therapy principles and practices.

Responsibilities

• Deliver skilled physical therapy treatments under physician orders and plans of care.
• Monitor patient progress and communicate changes to supervising Physical Therapist.
• Instruct patients on home exercise programs and post-discharge care.
• Document treatments, progress, and discharge planning accurately and timely.
• Maintain confidential and compliant patient records.
• Record treatment charges and complete documentation daily.
• Assist in maintaining clean, organized treatment areas and equipment.
• Provide support to Physical Therapy Aides as needed.
• Respond to urgent or emergent situations per protocol.
