Job summary

The Lodge of Saginaw is seeking a qualified Physical Therapist Assistant (PTA) to join our skilled nursing team in Texas. This full-time position provides patient-focused rehabilitation and coordinates care with the inter-disciplinary team.

Qualifications

• Texas PTA license is required.
• Experience in Skilled Nursing or LTC or Veterans Home is preferred.
• Experience with EMR systems.
• Demonstrates genuine care for patients and high-quality care.

Responsibilities

• Assist with rehabilitation of patients with various disabilities.
• Assist with implementing PT care plans.
• Coordinate care with the entire care team.
• Communicate effectively with patients, caregivers, and other health professionals.

Responsibilities

• Assist with facilitation of rehabilitation of patients with emotional, physical or mental disabilities
• Assist with implementation of physical therapy care plans
• Assist with coordination of care with entire care team
• Communicating effectively with patients, caregivers, healthcare providers, office support and other care team members

Must Haves

• PTA -Physical Therapist Assistantin the State of Texas
• Skilled Nursing, Healthcare (Long Term Care) or Veterans Homeexperience highly preferred
• Experience with EMR
