Silver Tree Nursing & Rehabilitation is seeking a dedicated Full-Time Physical Therapy Assistant (PTA) to join our in-house rehab team. You will administer prescribed PTA treatments to improve residents’ mobility and overall quality of life under the supervision of a Physical Therapist.

Qualified candidates hold an active Texas PTA license, have SNF/long-term care experience, and are proficient with Net Health EHR. Strong communication and teamwork are essential for success here.

Qualifications

• Texas PTA license in good standing.
• SNF or long-term care experience preferred.
• Familiarity with Net Health Electronic Documentation System.
• Excellent communication and teamwork skills.

Responsibilities

• Administer prescribed PTA treatments to improve mobility.
• Provide PTA services under PT supervision.
• Relay service requests to the Physical Therapist.
• Implement care plans and adjust as directed.
• Record motor function and progress accurately.
• Collaborate with the interdisciplinary team on outcomes.
• Educate patients, families, and caregivers.
• Ensure timely, compliant documentation.
• Attend Rehab Director meetings.

Join Our Team as a Full-Time Physical Therapy Assistant (PTA)

We are seeking a compassionate and motivated Physical Therapy Assistant (PTA) to join our in-house team of outstanding professionals. In this role, you will provide person-centered care to help residents achieve positive outcomes and improve their mobility, strength, and overall quality of life.

Your Impact as a Physical Therapy Assistant (PTA)

• Administer medically prescribed physical therapy treatments to relieve pain, improve or restore function, and promote healing
• Provide skilled physical therapy services and interventions in accordance with physician orders under the supervision of a Physical Therapist
• Respond to requests for service by relaying information and referrals to the Physical Therapist
• Implement and modify patients’ physical therapy plans of care under PT supervision
• Measure and record patients’ motor function, strength, and muscle performance
• Monitor patient response to treatment interventions and modify approaches as clinically appropriate in collaboration with the interdisciplinary team
• Provide clinical support and education to patients, family members, and caregivers
• Ensure documentation is completed thoroughly and timely in compliance with company policies and state/federal regulations
• Attend required meetings as designated by the Director of Rehab

What Makes You a Great Fit

• Active and valid Texas Physical Therapy Assistant license
• In good standing with all regulatory agencies and licensing boards
• Skilled Nursing Facility (SNF) or long-term care experience preferred
• Current knowledge of physical therapy treatment practices
• Experience with Net Health Electronic Documentation System preferred
• Ability to manage patients with varying personalities and needs
• Strong communication and teamwork skills
