Lovelace Health System is seeking a part-time Outpatient Physical Therapy Assistant (PTA) for the day shift in Albuquerque, NM. The role involves delivering therapy under the supervision of a licensed physical therapist and contributing to patient care in a collaborative environment.

Qualified candidates will have an Associate’s Degree in Physical Therapy Assistant, NM licensure or eligibility, and BLS certification within 14 days of hire. Prior related experience is a plus.

Formación

• Associate’s Degree in Physical Therapy Assistant is required.
• Licensed or licensure-eligible PTA in the State of New Mexico.
• BLS certification must be obtained within 14 days of hire or transfer into the role and prior to providing direct patient care.

Responsabilidades

• Provides therapy treatment to patients with developmental, physical, cognitive, and/or emotional impairments under the supervision of a licensed physical therapist; adheres to policies and regulations for safety and compliance.

Responsibilities

Provides therapy treatment to patients with developmental, physical, cognitive, and/or emotional impairments, disabilities, and/or handicaps under the supervision of a licensed physical therapist. Adheres to policies, procedures, and regulations to ensure compliance and patient safety.
