Lovelace Health System's outpatient rehabilitation department in Albuquerque, NM seeks a part-time Physical Therapist for a day shift to help patients regain function with medically prescribed therapy.

The role emphasizes safety, adherence to policies, and collaboration with a dedicated care team. A BS in Physical Therapy and NM licensure/eligibility, plus BLS within 14 days, are required; master's/doctorate and 1 year experience are preferred.

Formación

• Bachelor of Science Degree in Physical Therapy from an accredited program required.
• Current NM physical therapy licensure or licensure eligibility required.
• BLS certification must be obtained within 14 days of hire.
• Master's Degree or Doctorate in Physical Therapy preferred.

Responsabilidades

• Organize and conduct medically prescribed PT treatment for individuals with impairments, to improve function.
• Adhere to policies and safety to ensure patient safety and compliance.

• Lovelace UNM Rehabilitation Hospital includes state-of-the-art rehabilitation services for patients recovering from healthcare conditions. It is the only rehabilitation hospital in the state accredited in six programs by the Commission on Accreditation of Rehabilitation Facilities.

Responsibilities:

Responsible for organizing and conducting medically prescribed physical therapy treatment to individuals with developmental, physical, cognitive, and/or emotional impairments, disabilities, and/or handicaps to assist in reaching optimal function within their physical limitations. Adheres to policies, procedures, and regulations to ensure compliance and patient safety.

Qualifications:

Job Requirements

• Bachelor of Science Degree in Physical Therapy from an accredited institution.
• Current Licensure or licensure eligible in Physical Therapy in the State of NM.

• BLS certification must be obtained within 14 days of hire or transfer into the role and prior to providing direct patient care.

Preferred Job Requirements

• Master's Degree or Doctorate in Physical Therapy.
• One (1) year of related experience.
