Job summary

Lovelace Health System, Inc. is seeking a day shift, full-time Outpatient Physical Therapy Assistant (PTA) in Albuquerque, NM to join our outpatient team.

Provide therapy under the supervision of a licensed physical therapist, helping patients regain function and independence while following safety and compliance guidelines.

Qualifications include an Associate's Degree in Physical Therapy Assistant and NM licensure or eligibility; BLS must be obtained within 14 days of hire.

Qualifications

• Associate's Degree in Physical Therapy Assistant required.
• Licensed or licensure-eligible PTA in the State of New Mexico.
• BLS certification must be obtained within 14 days of hire or transfer into the role and prior to providing direct patient care.

Responsibilities

• Provide therapy treatment to patients under the supervision of a licensed physical therapist.

Get to Know Your Team:

• Lovelace Westside Hospital provides care to Albuquerque's Westside and Rio Rancho, including a 24-hour emergency department and a wide range of inpatient and outpatient surgical capabilities such as Ear, Nose, and Throat (ENT), bariatric, and orthopedic service lines.

Responsibilities

Provide therapy treatment to patients with developmental, physical, cognitive, and/or emotional impairments, disabilities, and/or handicaps under the supervision of a licensed physical therapist. Adhere to policies, procedures, and regulations to ensure compliance and patient safety.
