Job summary

Waterside Health & Rehab Center seeks a Physical Therapy Assistant to help residents regain function in a skilled nursing facility, guiding patients toward therapy goals with education and tailored exercise.

Applicants must have an Associate’s Degree in PTA, hold a current PTA license in the state, and be proficient with basic computer and EHR software. Full-time and part-time opportunities with day shifts are available.

Qualifications

• Must have an Associate’s Degree in a Physical Therapy Assistant program from an accredited college or university.
• Must possess a current, unencumbered license to practice as a Physical Therapy Assistant within the state in which you work.

Responsibilities

• Return residents to optimal physical function and assist in achieving therapy goals in a SNF setting.
• Instruct patients to maintain function after discharge through education, independent exercise, and activity modification.

Position Summary:

The primary purpose of your job is to return resident to optimal physical function and facilitate achievement of patient, physician, and therapy goals in a SNF setting. Instruct the patient in maintaining achieved level of function after discharge through education, independent exercise program, and appropriate activity modification.

Education/Qualifications:

• Must have an Associate’s Degree in a Physical Therapy Assistant program from an accredited college or university.

• Must possess a current, unencumbered license to practice as a Physical Therapy Assistant within the state in which you work.

• Must possess basic computer skills and ability to navigate through various software programs, including service delivery software and the electronic health record software.

Shift & Wage:

• Full-Time and Part-Time Opportunities Available

• Shifts Needed: Days

• Wage: $28.00 - $34.00 per hour
