Aspire Senior Living Malden, MO is hiring a dedicated Physical Therapy Assistant (PTA) to join a collaborative therapy team. You will assist licensed therapists, implement treatment plans, and help patients achieve independence through targeted exercises and education.

The role requires MO licensure as a PTA, 1–2 years of PTA experience (preferably in skilled nursing), and strong communication with patients and staff. A $4,000 sign-on bonus is available and competitive wages are offered.

Responsibilities

• Assist licensed therapists with patient assessments, treatment plans, and interventions.

• Maintain accurate records of treatment and outcomes.
• Educate patients and families on exercises and self-care.
• Participate in interdisciplinary team meetings.

• Assist licensed therapists with patient assessments, treatment plans, and interventions

• Collaborate with the therapy team to develop and implement patient-centered treatment plans

Ideal Candidate:

• Licensed Physical Therapy Assistant (PTA) in the state of Missouri
• High school diploma or equivalent required; associate's degree in physical therapy or related field preferred
• 1-2 years of experience as a Physical Therapy Assistant (PTA); experience in a skilled nursing setting preferred
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills
• Ability to work effectively with patients, therapists, and other healthcare professionals
• Strong problem-solving and critical thinking skills
• Ability to lift, push, and pull patients and equipment as needed
