Assist licensed therapists with patient assessments, treatment plans, and interventions
Implement exercises and modalities as prescribed by the therapist
Monitor patient progress and report any changes or concerns to the therapist
Maintain accurate and detailed records of patient treatment and outcomes
Collaborate with the therapy team to develop and implement patient-centered treatment plans
Educate patients and their families on proper exercises and self-care techniques
Participate in patient care conferences and interdisciplinary team meetings
Licensed Physical Therapy Assistant (PTA) in the state of Missouri
High school diploma or equivalent required; associate's degree in physical therapy or related field preferred
1-2 years of experience as a Physical Therapy Assistant (PTA); experience in a skilled nursing setting preferred
Strong communication and interpersonal skills
Ability to work effectively with patients, therapists, and other healthcare professionals
Strong problem-solving and critical thinking skills
Ability to lift, push, and pull patients and equipment as needed
