Serenity-Therapy-Solutions-LL in Lafayette, NJ is hiring a full-time Physical Therapy Assistant (PTA) to join our skilled nursing facility, offering a stable caseload and supportive clinical team.

You will provide skilled therapeutic interventions under supervision of a Physical Therapist, document patient progress, educate patients and caregivers, comply with HIPAA and facility policies, and contribute to high-quality patient care.

Qualifications

• NJ PTA license required
• Graduate of an accredited PTA program

Position Summary:

Job Responsibilities:

• Provide skilled therapeutic intervention and services under the supervision of a Physical Therapist

• Follow all facility regulations and guidelines, including confidentiality and HIPAA compliance

• Adhere to scheduled hours and maintain a professional demeanor at all times

• Document patient progress and provide caregiver/patient education as appropriate

• Communicate regularly with supervising Physical Therapist regarding patient progress and clinical needs

• Ensure safe treatment practices, monitor patient response, and modify interventions as needed

Requirements:

• Valid PTA license (NJ required)

• Graduate of an accredited Physical Therapy Assistant program

• Experience in skilled nursing facilities preferred

• Familiarity with Rehab Optima (or similar EMR) preferred
