Job summary

Lifepoint Rehabilitation's St. Catherine Rehab Center in Indiana is seeking a Physical Therapist Assistant (PTA) to join our team full time. You will implement treatment plans, monitor responses, document progress, and educate patients and families while assisting with discharge planning.

Current licensure as a PTA and BLS/CPR are required; prior experience is preferred. We offer opportunities for professional development and a supportive leadership culture within a patient-focused environment.

How you'll contribute

A Physical Therapist Assistant who excels in this role:

• Implements treatment plan developed by supervising therapist using appropriate modalities. Seeks consultation as necessary.

• Monitors patient's responses to the treatment plan. Regularly communicates patient progress and possible goal revisions to the physical therapist.

• Documents services provided and patient response/progress.

• Educates the patient and family/caregiver about patient deficits. Assists with patient discharge planning.

• Provides information regarding appropriate selection/use of adaptive equipment and community support programs.
