Job summary

Powdersville Post Acute in Easley, SC is seeking a compassionate Physical Therapist Assistant (PTA) to join our rehabilitation team. Working under the direction of a licensed Physical Therapist, the PTA will provide high-quality therapy services designed to help residents improve mobility, strength, function, and independence.

This full-time role offers hourly pay of $30–$35, with benefits including medical/dental/vision and life insurance, PTO and a 401(k) with company match, PRN opportunities,

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited Physical Therapist Assistant program.
• Current South Carolina PTA license in good standing.
• Must maintain all required continuing education and licensure requirements.
• Experience in skilled nursing, rehabilitation, or long-term care preferred.
• Experience with PCC and Casamba preferred.
• Strong clinical, communication, and documentation skills.

Responsibilities

• Provide physical therapy treatments as directed by the supervising Physical Therapist.
• Implement individualized treatment plans according to physician orders and therapy goals.
• Monitor resident progress and communicate updates to the therapy team.
• Document treatments, progress notes, and required clinical information accurately and timely.
• Assist with discharge planning and caregiver education.
• Collaborate with nursing staff and other interdisciplinary team members.
• Participate in care conferences and team meetings as needed.
• Maintain a safe, clean, and organized treatment environment.
• Ensure compliance with all state, federal, and facility regulations.
• Support residents in achieving their highest level of function and independence.
