Base pay range

$30.00/hr - $35.00/hr

Physical Therapy Now is an Outpatient Center in Miami-Dade and Broward, FL. We are hiring a full-time/part-time/per diem PTA to perform patient care and treatment. Our work environment includes:

Duties:

• Assist physical therapists in providing patient care and treatment
• Prepare treatment areas and equipment for therapy sessions
• Escort patients to and from therapy sessions
• Monitor patients during therapy sessions and report any changes or concerns to the physical therapist
• Perform administrative tasks such as scheduling appointments, maintaining patient records, and billing
• Clean and maintain therapy equipment and treatment areas
• Provide assistance with exercises and therapeutic activities as directed by the physical therapist
• Educate patients on proper techniques for exercises and activities

Experience:

• Must be a licensed Physical Therapist Assistant in the state of Florida
• Previous experience in healthcare or rehabilitation setting preferred
• Knowledge of anatomy, physiology, and medical terminology
• Familiarity with pediatric physical therapy techniques is a plus but not required
• Experience with trigger point therapy and Shockwave therapy are pluses
